During the Triple-i Initiative Showcase, publisher Future Friends Games and studio Panik Arcade presented CloverPit, a roguelite horror game inspired by slot machines. It is described as a blend of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, and it is planned to launch on PC via Steam sometime this year, with a demo version already available for play.

The plot of CloverPit takes place in a rusty cell equipped with a slot machine and an ATM. The goal is to survive and pay off debts to avoid ruin, but every round can end in disaster. By manipulating the aforementioned slot machine, using items, and magic powers, you can turn luck in your favor and create incredible combinations that lead to freedom or complete collapse.

Despite a theme revolving around luck and risk, CloverPit is not a gambling simulator. The in-game slot machine is designed to be “outsmarted” and overcome through strategic planning, without any microtransactions or real monetary investment. Specifically, the game highlights a story of addiction and escape, featuring roguelite elements that allow for different endings and upgrades.
