The Midnight Walk Sells 100,000 Units on Steam, PlayStation 5 and VR

First-person adventure game The Midnight Walk from developer MoonHood and publisher Fast Travel Games, has sold 100,000 units since its release on May 8, 2025 on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 and PS VR2. This title has been widely praised for its unique artistic and narrative approach.

The Midnight Walk is set in a world of darkness where you control “the Burnt One,” who befriends a creature named “Potboy” and must protect his flame from monstrous threats. The narrative is split into five major chapters, each exploring themes of fire and darkness. Our review praised it, saying: “You can absolutely feel that passion in every single moment of the game.”

One of the game’s most distinctive features is its unique claymation art style. The developers at MoonHood, who previously worked on games like Lost in Random and Fe, created over 700 clay models that were 3D-scanned into the game to give it a tactile feel reminiscent of stop-motion animation.
