Developer All Possible Futures and publisher Devolver Digital have released a new gameplay trailer, likely the last one before the official launch of The Plucky Squire on September 17. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam
In this four-minute video, we follow the hero Jot as he sets out on a quest for a magical bow. During his mission, Jot jumps from 2D into 3D worlds, fights fierce enemies, solves clever puzzles, and even participates in turn-based RPG-style battles. We also see him demonstrating impressive precision with a bow. It’s clear that Jot has many more skills up his sleeve.
The Plucky Squire is set on the pages of a beautifully illustrated storybook, but Jot’s adventure goes far beyond that. He can leap through magical portals, leaving his storybook world behind and entering a strange 3D reality outside it. The game combines action, platforming, puzzles, and many other gameplay styles, making it an exciting and dynamic experience. Every part of this adventure promises something new and full of surprises.
