The Triple-i Initiative Showcase is officially returning on April 9, promising 45 minutes of non-stop reveals, gameplay trailers, and world premieres focused entirely on standout independent titles. Organized by Evil Empire, the showcase has built a reputation for cutting out the usual industry fluff. There are no ads, no sponsors, and no lengthy segments, just back-to-back game announcements designed to keep viewers engaged from start to finish.
Previous showcases featured updates on indie hits like Katana ZERO, Vampire Survivors, and Slay the Spire 2, and the 2026 edition is set to be even bigger. This year’s show will include over 40 games, with eight exclusive world premieres alongside updates on highly anticipated titles such as Risk of Rain 2 and Alkahest.
The event also brings together a strong lineup of indie publishers and developers, including Klei Entertainment, tinyBuild, and Devolver Digital, ensuring a diverse mix of creative projects and genres. The focus remains on games that are engaging, innovative, and memorable, exactly what the indie scene is known for.
Viewers can watch the showcase across platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Steam, and Bilibili, with additional co-streams from partners such as IGN. After the main event, deeper dives into selected games will offer more insight for those who want a closer look.
